Special Meeting of the Jathika Sevaka Sangamaya (JSS) Women's Organization was held at the Workers' Education Centre ,JSS Headquarters, Pitakotte on July 23rd 2015. The General Secretary of the JSS, Mr. Sirinal De Mel & JSS Accountant,Mr. Basil De Silva were Guests of Honour.

The meeting was chaired by the Vice President of the Women's Organization, Mrs. Pushpa Niriella with the assistance of the Chief Organizer, Mrs. M.K.S.Damayanthi and Secretary, Miss K. Namalee Thalpawila.

Work shop held on the 7th and 8th August 2013, at the “ Punchi Theater “ - Borella, which was organized by Media Collective Headed by Ms. Anoja Weerasinghe.

After the work shop out of the 45 participants 05 active participants were selected by Ms. Anoja Weerasinghe to attend a special programme of “ABHINA “ FREE OF CHARGE . We are happy to inform that out of the 05 participants selected, 02 are from Jathika Sevaka Sangamaya, are Ms. M.K.S. Damayanthi Chief Organizer of Women Organization of JSS and Ms. Thushari Manjula - Committee member of Women Organization. This programme was held between 15th to the 20th of August, 2013 at “ PRAJA SANWARDENA PADANAMA” .
