අන්තර්ජාතික ප‍්‍රජාතන්ත‍්‍රවාදීන්ගේ සංගමයේ ආසියා ශාන්තිකර කලාපයේ සභාපතිවරයා ලෙස යළිත් පිදුම් ලැබූ විපක්ෂ නායක රනිල් වික‍්‍රමසිංහ මහතා අද කටුනායක ගුවන්තොටුපොලේ විශේෂ අමුත්තන් පැමිණෙන මැදිරියෙන් සිය රටට පැමිණියහ.
මේ අතර යළි දිවයිනට පැමිණි විපක්ෂ නායක රනිල් වික‍්‍රමසිංහ මහතා පිළිගැනීමට එජාප නායක‍යින් මෙන්ම ක්‍රියාකාරින් රැසක්ම එම ස්ථානයට පැමින සිටියහ. මේ අතර එජාප මහලේකම් තිස්ස අත්තනායක, ජෝන් අමරතුංග, ජෝසප් ම‍යිකල් පෙරේර, ජාතික සේවක සන්ගමයේ සභාපති දොස්තර ජයලත් ජයවර්ධන, ජාතික සේවක සංගමයේ ප්‍රධාන ලේකම් සිරිනල් ද මෙල්,ජාතික සේවක සංගමයේ මාධ්‍ය ලේකම් සුනිල් සිල්වා , DM ස්වාමිනාදන්, ගයන්ත කරුණාතිලක, ලක්ෂ්මන් කිරිඇල්ල, අකිල විරාජ් , AHM හලීම් මෙන්ම පළාත්සභා විපක්ෂ නායකවරු, වැනි ප්‍රධාන පෙලේ නායකියින් මේ අතර සිටියහ. 
Leader of Opposition returns to the country
Leader of the United National Party (UNP) Ranil Wickremasinghe who was appointed for a second time as the Chairman of International Democratic Union for the Asia Pacific, returned to the country today.
A group of parliamentarians were invited to attend the welcome ceremony that was held to greet Wickremasinghe.
Thirteen (13) parliamentarians were present to welcome Ranil Wickremasinghe.
