Jathika Sevaka Sangamaya and other Joint Trade Unions of the CEB state that they will not agree with the increasing of the salaries of the employees of the Water Board and the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation by 25 percent.
They state that salaries should be increased by 45 percent and nothing less.
The Government decided to increase the salaries of the employees of the Water Board and the Ceylon Petroleum Cooperation by 25 percent.
