Trade unions affiliated to power sector (CEB)have decided to end their trade union actions demanding a 30% salary increment and accept the government offered of 25% raise from January.Following a meeting held today by the Ceylon Electricity Board trade union alliance, the unions decided to accept the 25% salary hike for this year.
However, the unions have also decided to demand another 20% next year.
