The UNP has expressed concerns over the government's decision to take monies from the retirement fund account to construct a secretariat. UNP legislator and head of the UNP trade union wing, Dr. Jayalath Jayawardena has said the government should make arrangements to get money from the Treasury to build a pensions secretariat instead of taking it from the EPF account.
