The UNP trade union wing The Jathika Sevaka Sangamaya (JSS) of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation(CPC) is prepared to present facts for the investigation to the Bribery and Corruption Commission on the import of substandard petrol, at any given moment."They believe the Bribery and Corruption Commission will conduct a transparent investigation in regard to the incident, Secretary of JSS Ananda Palitha said.
He further stated that Jathika Sevaka Sangamaya is prepared to provide the investigation with all the information it has on the controversial fuel import. With the importation of substandard petrol the country lost large amount of money to the country.
