The remains of late Parliamentarian Dr. Jayalath Jayawardena have been placed at his residence in Weligampitiya, Ja-Ela. A large crowd paid their last respects to the late parliamentarian.
A group including members of the clergy and ministers were present to pay their final respects to late parliamentarian Dr. Jayalath Jaywardena at St. Anna Lane in Weligampitiya Saturday. UNP MP Dr. Jayalath Jayawardena, passed away while receiving treatment at a private hospital in Singapore.
The funeral of late MP Dr. Jayalath Jayawardena will take place on Sunday at the Roman Catholic Public Cemetery in Weligampitiya, Ja Ela.
