Suranga Naulage from the Ranil group was picked as the UNP trade union representative for the party’s Working Committee at a ballot held recently. Ananda Palitha, President of the JSS Branch at the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation who was fielded by the Karu group for this slot received only 23 votes against 45 polled by Naulage. And he was appointed to the Working Committee to represent the Jathika Sevaka Sangamaya.
And also Mr.Naulage received his letter of appontment from leader Ranil Wickramasinghe on 18th of December 2011 at Sirikotha.
